ABOUT

In the 80's Bernie Vincent made BMX frames & towable quarter pipes whilst his team demoed & competed across the UK...25 years later I'm bringing VINCENT FRAMES back!

************************************************

Bernie Vincent by trade was a welder who had a keen interest in all things bikes. He ran a bike shop for years and it was here that he decided he could make a better BMX frame than those he was selling. So he spoke to the riders, listened to what they wanted and created the ‘Vincent Freestyler’.

In 1984 Skyway rider Paul ‘rock’ Hudson was featured in Freestyle BMX Magazine testing out the brand new Vincent Freestyler. One year on and Rock was not only riding demos & competitions all over the UK & Europe for the Vincent Frames Freestyle team - he was also making them….along with their towable quarter pipes, forks and the ‘rock bars’ that bore his name.

Bernie and Paul went on to design and create the Vincent Airzone, Vincent Pro and the Vincent Cruiser. They were also responsible for making the RF1 frame for Andy Ruffell’s company Holeshot, which his brother Neil famously rode.

The Vincent Frames towable quarter pipes were used in all UKBFA competitions during the mid eighties and were bought by leisure centres and skate parks up and down the country and across Europe.

All of this from a little workshop at the back of a hairdressers in Saltdean near Brighton!
